A Place to stay is partnering to end homelessness in Blount County.

APTS serves as the central hub bringing together representatives from non-profits, faith groups, government agencies, businesses and concerned citizens to network and facilitate local efforts to address homelessness and serve the needs of the un-housed. APTS also is increasing public awareness of homelessness and engage the community in finding solutions and is moving toward establishing and managing housing designed to move people from homelessness into stable housing and self-sufficiency. Our Community Outreach center is in contact with 50-100 persons/month coming alongside to offer referrals and a listening ear. Quarterly Street Outreach Service days offer practical hands-on services from partner organizations.
